I love the mini Babybel Cheese from The Laughing Cow!

I think it’s really cool to open the ‘portable wax package’ although I do feel that I’m wasting something, green wise.  So I thought I’d check out their website to see – HaveYouLaughedToday.com.

Here it tells me that Babybel is “100% all-natural snack packed with calcium and goodness.”  The website goes on to say that the Babybel cheese is “mild, but not weak.  Strong, but not overbearing.”  And only 70 calories, yay!!

I know that Babybel comes in different cheeses for different tastes like Light, Bonbel, Mild Cheddar, and Gouda.

Does anyone know about the wax?  I can’t find any information on the Babybel site.  I’m just wondering if it’s eco-safe to have this piece of wax left over each time, does it degrade over time?
