Flat Bags are the coolest bags ever.  I started seeing them about 10 years ago on the streets of Nelson, BC, Canada.

Very cute, stylish, retro, and eco-friendly, these unique bags are made with recycled tubes from bicycle tires.  To date, Flat Bags has used over 15,000 feet of inner tubes!

Flat Bags has a great padded  Lap Top Sleeve which works for up to a 15” computer.  My favorite bag is the two-tone LG Favorite, naturally.  It’s a generous 14” x 12” x 3”, great for work or even a work out.  Then there’s the Happy Shopper reversible bag which is a generous 13” square or check out the awesome Yoga Mat Bag. 

Founded by avid mountain biker Shannon Hames in 1996, Flat Bags collects inner tubes donated by local sports stores in cities like Nelson, Trail, Grand Forks, Squamish and Vancouver, BC.
