Jason Mesnik – From Bachelor to Bigot

Okay, I admit I watch The Bachelor.  After tonight, I really don’t know why.

Jason Mesnik showed his true colors to the world tonight by proposing to Melissa, stating he “was the happiest man in the universe.”  Jason then changed his mind, dumped Melissa on live tv, and promptly asked Molly to take him back.

What a horrible way to end this season of the Bachelor.  Jason committed a betrayal of the heart and Molly is insane to think that this won’t somehow affect her, maybe not now in her excitement, but later when the doubt starts creeping into Jason’s mind about her.

I feel so bad for Melissa.  Jason really broke her heart.   He chose her, for crying out loud, Melissa was his choice.  He wanted to marry her.  If he had any doubt whatsoever, he should have never proposed to her.  But he did and it’s so wrong for him to just dump her.  And the worst part?  He sincerely seemd to think that what he was doing was okay.  He was very nonchalant about the whole thing.  What a hypocrite.

And poor Ty.  Jason always seemed to be uncomfortable around his own son, wanting to be the ‘perfect’ dad, and the letting Ty have his way whenever he wants.  This doesn’t make a good father.  And how is Jason going to explain that Melissa is gone and now Molly is back?  It’s a good thing that Ty really won’t remember any of this when he gets older.

Just goes to prove the saying, maybe they aren’t any good fish left in the sea.  At least not in Seattle or Los Angeles, or wherever the heck they really were.

Hugs,

My Favorite Things.

He reminds me of an old college roommate who probably still hasn’t settled down. Always looking for something new and exciting, they never learn that they are the one that is messed up. A very disappointing Bachelor ending indeed.
